Programming is used to enable to content of a page to be dependant on data from a form that the client may have filled in, contents of a database, contents of a file etc.
The data can be processed in many ways then stored, copeid or e-mailed out. Internet programming makes this happen.

User system - Allow your users to register, their information is stored in s a secure database, then can be recalled when needed. When they login, their information is available to be used in each web page on your site in any way you need,
Stock control & Product ordering - Products are stored in a database, they can then be searched through and results displayed. Stock levels for products can be controlled either automatically or manally.
Online Order - Orders can be placed by completing a form, orders could be allocated to different departemtns of depots depending on the postcode entered. An e-mail can be automatically sent to the processing department in real time.
Dynamically content - Often, sites need to create the menu system dynamically depending on the options available. The menu system or list of links can be created in any given format based on a database or a system of folder & files. |
